If you don't have Apple Music you won't be able to hear Drake's Views From The 6 on April 29 when it drops.
But you will be able to hear it a week later. BuzzFeed has learned that Apple's exclusivity on Views will just last seven days, and then Drake's fourth album will be released on all platforms.
It's unclear what (if any) role Cash Money/Young Money has in this arrangement.
It will be interesting to see how Apples' window of exclusivity effects Drake's sales number. Streams on Apple Music do count on the charts. But one would imagine the two tiered release would prevent Drake from putting up huge flashy opening week (or second week) numbers.
The $19 million Apple Music allegedly gave to Drizzy should make up for that.
