Antonio Brown Pushes Back On Narrative That Tom Brady Was Helping Him out

Tom Brady has seemingly been Antonio Brown's champion over the last several years.

Brady pushed both the Patriots and then the Bucs to sign the talented but troubled receiver during a time that most of the league didn't want to touch him.

"If Tom Brady is my boy why am I playing for an earnest salary?  You my boy, right? Gronkowski is his boy, right?  How much did he get paid?  So why is AB on a prove-it deal?  Who's better than me over there.  Let's be real.  Let's be honest.  Who's the best guy receiver-wise?

Gronk did have a bigger salary than AB this year:  $10 million vs. $3.1 million.

But is AB right that he is currently a better receiver than Mike Evans or even Chris Godwin?
