An Outkast & A Tribe Called Quest Album Could've Happened

Phife Dawg's memorial was held yesterday at The Apollo Theater, and many artists showed up to pay their respects. Kanye West and D'Angelo attended, as did Andre 3000, who dropped quite the bombshell during his speech.

Around the 1:30 mark, Dre reveals that a year or two ago a collaborative Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest album was discussed. It didn't move forward for reasons he was unsure of.

Just the idea alone would make the internet explode. The first full-length project from both groups in over a decade and it's a collaboration between the two!? If only it materialized into some music.
