Amanda Seales, who plays on the hit HBO show Insecure, said she had her own bad encounter with Russell Simmons. Last week Simmons stepped down from all of his companies, including Def Jam, after a second woman accused him of sexual assault.
In an earlier post, Seales said that during a meeting a very "important man" asked if they've ever "fucked". (They hadn't). In a post this weekend, she revealed that very important man was Simmons, and she also explained why it took her so long to disclose his identity.
With all of the sexual assault and harassment allegations going on, do you think this will change how men approach women going forward?
