'All Eyez On Me' Producer Responds To Jada Pinkett Smith's Criticism

Jada Pinkett Smith is one of the characters in the 2Pac biopic All Eyez On Me.

After watching the movie, Smith said she was "deeply hurt" by the way the film presented her relationship with Pac.

Her issue is with its accuracy. She explained that Pac never read her poetry nor did they ever have a backstage argument -- both of which are portrayed in the movie.

The movie's producer L.T. Hutton has responded to Smith's criticism. He explained that wasn't trying to precisely recreate her relationship with 2Pac, and is instead presenting a vision of what he thinks Pac wanted it to be.

"I'm kinda disappointed and just hurt by the accusation ... but it all came from the truth," he said of Smith's words. “I created the Holy Trinity,” he explained. “It’s who Tupac was, who he wanted to be and who he had to be to survive the world that he was introduced into.” “People that eat dinner with her all the time have seen the movie and they loved it and they told her about it,” he continued. “And they told me that they explained to her and everything was great. This was years ago.”
Would you be pissed if you were Jada?
