Akon Finally Got French Montana Another Watch

Several years ago, French Montana told the world that Akon bought him a fake Hublot watch.

Akon owned up to passing French a fugazi during his stop on Drink Champs last year

“I get the watch, I put it on.  I said 'look what I got for you. ' He was happy, I was happy. We lit, we lit. Now mind you I’m not really knowing there’s specific brands in watches and all that, I wasn’t really a watch guy. I just saw something I liked that looked nice and I got it. French clearly went to his jeweler, right, and got it checked out, and the jeweler was like, ‘Yo, this is fake.’” 'What do you mean fake? I was like, what do you mean fake.'  The sh*t tick, don’t it? The sh*t work, right," Akon remembered."Not only was I upset because I paid, like, five grand for each watch, but in my mind that was expensive for a watch. But obviously, for a Hublot that was no money, that was real a huge discount. But I didn't even now I was getting a discount So I’m like, ‘This ungrateful ass n*gga.'”

Akon recently tried to make up for the bad gift by giving French another watch.
