When Kanye West began making racist statements against the Jewish and Black community over the past few weeks, he lost some of his partnerships like Balenciaga.
Adidas was quiet, though, which prompted the hashtag "boycottadidas"over the weekend. But the company just broke its silence by condemning Ye's racist diatribes and cutting off all business with him.
"Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness," Adidas said in a statement, shared by TMZ. "[We] will terminate the partnership with Ye, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies."
Not only has Ye perpetuated Jewish stereotypes about Jewish people controlling the media in recent weeks, he wore a White Lives Matter shirt, dissed the Black Lives Matter movement, and said convicted ex-cop Derek Chauvin really didn't kill George Floyd but fentanyl did.
Kanye hasn't responded to Adidas' decision yet but knowing him, he probably will.
