Adam 22 Dropped from Atlantic Records Due to Sexual Assault Claims

by Daryl Nelson

Adam22 was dropped by Atlantic, who were going to partner with on his No Jumper record label, because of accusations of sexual assault allegations.

Back in March, Pitchfork ran a story where two women accused Adam of sexual assault, which he denied. Then in October, The Daily Beast spoke to a model named Lauren Duck who told them the podcast host raped her when she stayed at his house.

“He gave me drugs notorious for making people black out, had sex with me and then recorded it without my consent," Duck claimed.

Adam retorts that he, Duck and others all got drunk and high that night with the intention of having an orgy.

“Everything that happened that night was entirely consensual,” he stated. “I filmed like 8 seconds of us having sex, she 100 percent knew I filmed it, and I didn’t distribute it in any way, although at some point she got the idea that I was selling it.”

The news of Atlantic dropping Adam comes after some racist, sexist and pedophilic old messages of his surfaced. Adam, who also had a major beef with Russ, later addressed the messages and said he's in a different place these days.
