For the last several years, chef-turned-rapper Action Bronson has been known more for his cooking than his bars.
But that part his career may be coming to a close. Bronson recently ended his popular Viceland cooking show Fuck That’s Delicious.
The break up between Bronson and Vice came after Viceland's social media manager posted a meme which compared Action unfavorably to Salt Bae.
Some folks thought the tweet and Action's reaction was a big stunt to promote the show. But during a stop on Ebro In The Morning, Bronson confirmed he had moved on.
"They could use that energy and use it to promote the show that’s on their channel. My show. They could promote the music I just put out being that we worked together for six fucking years. It just irked me. It was an underlying thing. It wasn’t just that," he said about the mean meme. "It was all types of things behind the scenes that have been upsetting me for years. At this moment, I’m just ready for a new endeavor. A new chapter. It’s been beautiful."
Action Bronson's new album White Branco drops November 1.
