Aaron Carter, who went triple platinum as a boy rapper in 2000, is still trying to recreate the magic.
But the most notable thing he's done in years is get attacked last night during a show at the Loony Bin in Bradley, Illinois.
According to eyewitnesses, a member of Carter's opening band, ILL State, was clowning around and grabbing cellphones in the audience as Aaron was trying to perform.
So Carter asked security to remove him. As they did, Carter yelled "Bye Felipe" (a take on Bye Felica) at the man, who is Hispanic.
The racial remark apparently enraged the man, who was able to get back into the venue and attack Carter onstage.
In the fight that ensued, Carter was bloodied and hospitalized. Police are investigating.
