Yesterday, A$AP Rocky dropped his sophomore album A.L.L.A and Boosie Badazz released his sixth LP Touchdown 2 Cause Hell.
HDD is reporting that Rocky is projected to do 110-120K (125-135K including streams) first week sales. This will be the biggest debut of the week, and should be the number one album in the land. In comparison, Rocky's debut album Long. Live. A$AP did 139K first week in 2013. That was riding off the success of 'Fuckin' Problems.' A.L.L.A, on the other hand, isn't backed by a big hit single.
Touchdown 2 Cause Hell won't be opening as strong. Boosie's first album in five years should move between 45 and 55K, sales plus streaming. That's less than the 63K Tech N9ne's Special Effects did recently in its first week, but a lot better than the 25K Snoop Dogg's Bush put up a couple weeks ago.
Did you listen to either A.L.L.A or Touchdown 2 Cause Hell?
