A$AP Rocky May Get A Fortune From Swedish Government If Found Not Guilty

by HHL JT

Sweden still hasn't decided whether to charge A$AP Rocky for his involvement in a Stockholm street fight.

If they don't charge, or if he's found innocent, the Swedish government may owe A$AP some serious coin.

In Sweden, if a defendant is locked up on charges he ultimately beats he can ask the government to pay him for any wages he lost while he was imprisoned.

Rocky, who's been locked up for three weeks, has already had to cancel seven shows. If he goes to trial, another 12 shows are in jeopardy.

A$AP pulls in around a 100K a show. So if he's released this week without charge, Sweden could be on the hook for close to a million. If he goes to trial and beats it, he could be going back to Harlem with close to $2 million.

But -- as TMZ points out -- there may be a catch.

The language of law says the government "may" pay out lost wages.

So Sweden could decide to screw Rocky yet again.
