On Sunday, Chance the Rapper was in a vehicle that was pulled over by police in his home city of Chicago.

More specifically, his baby's mother Kirsten Corley is the one who got stopped. To make himself feel safer,  he recorded everything on Instagram Live.

"Kirsten got pulled over," said Chance during the broadcast. "I just want y'all to be here in case it gets out of hand. Should be good, though. Should be straight. I have great faith in humanity and the men and women that put on the badge. But, you know, can't be too careful."
Chance continued.

"Shout-out to WorldStar for just tuning in, because y'all could definitely help me out if it goes sideways," he stated. "Once again, lot of faith in the men and women… Big faith in the men and women that put on the uniform, but policing as a system is disproportionately racist and oppressive, so, you know. I'm with my baby, I got no burner in the car, no drugs in the car, nothing going on. Just came back from church."
In the end, Corley was given a warning for a moving violation so all was okay. What do you think about Chance using his 6.7 million followers to watch his back in a personal situation like that?
