Meek Mill probably won't have to serve time in jail after he was arrested in New York City earlier this week for popping wheelies in front of cops during a Harlem video shoot.
As TMZ reports, prosecutors will not pursue the felony reckless endangerment charge that they initially hit the rapper with. They didn't say why. According to Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, the charge didn't make sense in the first place, because the cops saw Meek popping wheelies yet didn't arrest him until the next day.

"In my 26 years in the system, both as a prosecutor and a defense lawyer, I never really seen a case like this," said Tacopina. "You have a situation where a guy literally popped a wheelie for 10 seconds with no one else around, and the police were there, and that's very important. The police were there and saw it that night and didn't arrest him. They didn't charge him with reckless endangerment, they didn't even give him a traffic ticket, but somehow that video made it to social media."Tacopino also wondered why Meek was the only person arrested when there were others who were doing stunts in the streets as well.
"That video was then sent to 1 Police Plaza for analysis, which they really don't do on many cases, let alone traffic infractions and then they came back and arrested Meek Mill — only Meek Mill — despite there were eight people doing the same thing," he said.Do you think Meek could have done anything to avoid being arrested in this situation, or did he do everything right?
