When Young Dro was arrested at Georgia Southern University for carrying a gun on campus, he said the rapper Spodee snitched on him and told the police.
But in a recent Instagram post, Spodee shot back and showed a handwritten police statement in which Young Dro told the cops that the gun was Spodee's and not his.
"Nigga keep asking me about this pussy ass nigga Dro, right? So once and for all I'm going to let ya'll know what's going on with this shit and I'm through with this shit," said Spodee. "What you looking at right here ... is a statement wrote by Duan Hart, who is Young Dro. Well, the man got my name in the statement."
"'Long story short, it belonged to one other artist by the name of Johnathan Carle," the statement read. "That's me ... Now this right here is the police motherfuckin' statement ... 'Mr. Hart did also specifically name Mr. Carle as the offender in possession of all contraband.' Man, don't go for that sucker ass shit come out these hoe ass nigga's mouths."From there, the former Grand Hustle artist said Dro knew that he was bringing a gun with him before going to Georgia Southern University but said that his DJ would claim it if police found it.
Afterward, Dro responded and explained he mentioned Spodee's name in the statement because he didn't want to get charged for a gun that wasn't his.
"Like I said, my boy, the reason why we went to jail is because we didn't tell on you," he said. "I ain't tell them, bruh, because I wanted you to be a man [and take the charge] ... Now you gonna let them lock Dro up?"What do you think about all this? Who's to blame?
