50 Cent's been making comedy on social media for years now.
He's now bringing those talents to the small screen.
Fif will be following up his success with the Starz show Power with the Fox single camera comedy My Friend 50. Like with Power, 50 will executive produce and play a supporting role.
My Friend 50 will follow Amanda Kramer, an "unstable twentysomething who believes that joining 50 Cent’s entourage is the answer to all her problems. Her unlikely journey with 50 Cent’s crew takes the form of a bizarre documentary commissioned by the most unreliable narrator in history: Amanda."
Hmmm. This white-girl-out-of-water tale sounds an awful lot like the premise of the never-developed reality show The Unit, which 50 cent is currently suing his former business partner over.
Something tells us we're going to be hearing more about that legal situation if My Friend 50 becomes a hit.
