Nick Cannon tried his best to provoke Eminem into a war on wax with back-to-back-to-back diss tracks, including a third track which veered heavy into race-baiting.
Shady wouldn't be baited, perhaps in part because of some advice he got from his old friend 50 Cent.

You can’t argue with a fool,” 50 continued, mocking Cannon. “When you understand that a person is not registering even when they’re losing, then the argument goes forever. So you should just stop.”
50 Cent, a notorious Instagram bully, doesn't seem to be taking his own advice when it comes to his numerous feuds with folks in lesser stations.
That said, maybe he draws a distinction between firing something out on IG and taking the time to get into the studio.
