Back in 2009, 50 Cent was beefing with Rick Ross. (Or, as Fif likes to call him, "Officer Ricky.")
During the feud, 50 befriend Lastonia Leviston, the mother of Ross's child. Then he mysteriously got hold of a sex tape of Leviston and posted it on YouTube .
50 Cent doctored the tape, blurring out the head of the male talent (Maurice Murray, another one of Leviston's ex's) and offering up his narration of the act. But Leviston could be seen and the next year she sued 50, claiming that he had posted the tape without her permission, and that the backlash from it caused her emotional distress and had her contemplating suicide.
Now, five years later, the case will be heard.
The trial begins on May 26 and is expected to last two weeks. Key to the proceedings may be the pre-trial discovery process. In them, Leviston's lawyers are expected to argue that statements Murray made to Fif about Leviston being “a freak” who would “do anything sexually" shouldn't be admissible.
50 (Curtis Jackson), Murray and Leviston are expected to testify. Ross is not.
