Just like Ice Cube, Diddy, and Charlamagne Tha God have done, 50 Cent has inserted himself into the presidential election by being a contrarian.
On Monday, Fif endorsed Donald Trump after Joe Biden released his tax plan, and the rapper is now getting slammed for it.
"WHAT THE F*CK! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT, 🏃♂️💨F*CK NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway," wrote 50 on Instagram. "🤷🏽♂️I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f*cking mind."
Katrina Pierson, a Trump staff person, responded to 50's endorsement on Twitter and wrote, "I guess 50 cent don't want to end up 20 cent."
That prompted a response from 50 who doubled down on his Trump support.
"Yeah, i don’t want to be 20cent," wrote Fif. "62% is a very, very,bad idea. i don’t like it !"
Do you think 50's endorsement will have an impact on voters from the Hip Hop community?
