The record states that Tupac Shakur was shot four times in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, succumbing to his injuries six days later.
Theories that Pac is still alive have been rampant ever since, and the latest comes from Rick Boss, a filmmaker and Shakur family friend. He is working on a movie called 2Pac: The Great Escape from UMC which he discussed with KTNV Channel 13 in Las Vegas.
"This movie is about 2Pac actually escaping University Medical Center here in Las Vegas and relocating to New Mexico, getting protection from the Navajo tribe," Boss explains
Boss claims Pac knew he was about to get taken out, so he put a double in Suge Knight's car and that fateful night and then planned an ariel escape.
"When certain FBI agencies are looking for you, the first thing that they'll do is block the airport so you can't travel out, so the best way to escape is through helicopters, private helicopters to another state," Boss said, adding the FBI can't go on to Navajo land without permission from tribal elders so that it made it a perfect hideout.
Boss claims his tale is true, and that he knows many people Pac's orbit through his relationships with Pac's mom and Snoop Dogg.
