Is 15-Year Old Rapper Chris Miles The Real Deal?

by HHL Editors

You may remember the name Chris Miles from a couple years ago when the 13-year old's audition tape for "America's Got Talent" went viral.

Based on the strength of his tween-age flow, as well as a couple good shows, Miles signed a record contract with Warner/Chappell that could pay him up to $1.5 million plus royalties for five albums.

If the Long Island MC wants to be a millionaire his first album, which he received a $182,500 advance on, has to do well. Miles, now 15, just dropped his first song off of his the mixtape Birth Of Cool, which will be released later this month. The track is called "Knew That" and the video is directed skateboard videographer R.B. Umali.

What do you think? Is Chris Miles the real deal or all neatly package, high production value (white) hype?
