Earlier this year, 03 Greedo was sentenced to 20 years in prison for an incident in which his car was pulled over in Texas with four pounds of methamphetamine and two stolen handguns.
The up and coming Los Angeles rapper (and up and coming troll) apologized to his fans after taking a plea. He had been facing up to 300 years.

But 20 years isn't as bad as it sounds. According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's website, he will be eligible for parole beginning on Sept. 19, 2020. That's a lot better than his original May 31, 2038 release.
It's also the difference between getting sentenced by a state and getting sentenced by the Feds, who tend to make you serve that time. (And why Tekash 6ix9ine is such big, big trouble.)
