Yesterday, we reported that Young Dolph was shot in Hollywood, Calif. right outside of the Shoe Palace on the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Ave. At that time, he was listed in critical condition but was expected to survive.
There were also reports that Dolph and Yo Gotti were both staying at Los Angeles' Loews Hollywood Hotel before the incident, and their crews got into a heated exchange before the gunfire started. Police have arrested a man named Corey McClendon for attempted murder in connection with the shooting.
McClendon is a likely affiliate of Gotti. In 2010, McClendon was one of nine people arrested after Gotti got in an argument with rapper OG Boo Dirty outside of Level II nightclub in Memphis.
Gotti, himself, was initially reported as a person of interest in the latest shooting. But the LAPD is now denying they are looking at Dolph's Memphis rival.

TMZ reports that Dolph underwent surgery last night and is in recovery. He was shot in one of his arms and his butt.
We'll have to see if Dolphin documents this whole experience on a mixtape -- like he did after he survived 100 shots in North Carolina earlier this year -- or if he decides to lay low this time. What do you think he should do?
