The Weeknd has a legit claim to Song Of The Summer with 'I Can't Feel My Face.'

Some of the track's success is due to its video, which is a homage to Michael Jackson and his dance moves.

Director Mitch Moore has accused The Weeknd of stealing some of the video's concept from an unreleased (but well circulated) video he did for the band Majical Cloudz. Moore posted a frame-by-frame comparison yesterday on Instagram:

He had this to say in the caption:

So about a year ago, I directed a video for Majical Cloudz. Because of creative differences, it never came out. But the production was large, and many feedback emails were sent out with private uploads of the edit. It's come to my attention that some body at the helm of a certain mega popular video must have seen one or more of these unreleased edits. The resemblance is too uncanny. My mind is a mansion of creativity, so this petty theft is nbd to me. BUT I'M STILL CALLING THE POLICE!!
On the one hand, there are some similarities. But if the dude in Moore's video doesn't catch fire and perform a flaming dance routine we're having trouble calling The Weeknd's video a rip off. What do you think?
