Last night, Wale became the first rapper to open a State Of The Union, as the DC emcee played the White House's official SOTU watch party.
This isn't Wale's first time at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Last year, he was a guest at a President Obama gun control speech, and he was also invited to one of First Lady Michelle Obama's educational events.
Check out Wale doing his thing last night at about the 48 minute mark.
During the performance, he announced that his fifth album is coming this year.
"My name is Wale," he said. "My fifth album, Shine, 2016."
Performed at the "State of the Union" .. #SOTU.. #shine on the universe . HipHop is limitless . Thank You @WhiteHouse @BarackObama
