Tay-K had a big hit this summer with 'The Race'.
The track is about a killer on the run from the law. Which is exactly what Tay-K is accused of being.
In July 2016, when Tay-K was 16, he was involved in a home invasion in Mansfield, Texas that resulted in the death of 21-year-old Ethan Walker. He was placed under house arrest but was able to cut off his ankle monitor. He fled to New Jersey where he was caught by US Marshalls. He is also a suspect in another murder case for an incident that took place after a 2015 Daytona Boyz concert.
Yesterday, his lawyer revealed that the now-17-year-old will be tried for murder as an adult in the first case.
