Carlos 'Shawty Lo' Walker died last night in what is being described as a "fiery single car accident."
While his death was initially reported as a hit and run, Atlanta authorities now say Shawty's Audi jumped a guard rail at about 2:20 AM this morning, hit two trees and burst into flames. The two passengers in the car suffered non life-threatening injuries.
As a solo artist, Lo was best known 'Dey Know.' He had rose to fame as a member of the Atlanta group D4L, which had hits like 'Betcha Can’t Do It Like Me' and 'Laffy Taffy.'
He is survived by his 11 children.
