Mobb Deep's Prodigy published his autobiography after serving a three year sentence on gun charges. While the 2011 memoir told much of his story, he left out a lot of his prison time for a reason. He wanted to put out more books, and four years later that's what he's doing.
The 41-year old will drop two new books in 2016.
The Commissary Kitchen will be half cook-book, half storybook. The story portion is set to tackle the living conditions and reform of inmates.
The State vs. Albert "Prodigy" Johnson will document his time in prison. According to its press release: "The rapper will chronicle the overall prison experience, the challenges of life after prison and the effects that the prison term has had on his personal life and career."
Expect to find out the books release dates in the coming months.
