Jay-Z and Nas's rap beef is the stuff of legends.
It's probably rap's most famous feud that didn't end in death.
They've softened their stance toward each other in their old age.
But that old fire may return, as they are now in casino competition.
Yesterday, Nas announced he is part of a group that wants to redevelop Resorts World Casino in Queens.
The property is a racino with slots and horse race betting. The group wants to do a $5 billion expansion, turning the Resorts Word into a Las Vegas-style casino with hotels, entertainment spaces, and a full array of games.
To do so, it would need to snag one of three full-gaming liscenes that New York state is offering.
JAY-Z is already a part of a group that wants one of the licenses to put a casino in Times Square.
Multiple other groups have submitted proposals, including one led by billionaire Mets owner Steve Cohen and another who wants to put a casino by the United Nations.
A decision is expected by next year.
