Lil Wayne spent a good chunk of 2010 locked up in Rikers Island after pleading guilty to gun charges.
It's long been rumored that Wayne was going to publish a memoir about his time in the clink, and it looks like that's finally coming to fruition.
Barnes and Noble says the book, titled Gone 'Til November, is slated for October 11th release. Here is the description:
From rap superstar Lil Wayne comes the long-awaited GONE 'TIL NOVEMBER, a deeply personal and revealing account of his time spent incarcerated on Rikers Island for eight months in 2010.Last year an excerpt of the book leaked. In it, Wayne describes being depressed after his Young Money artist Drake visited him at Rikers and informed him that he had slept with one of girlfriends.
If that's indicative of the type of revelations in the book, expect Gone 'Til November to get a lot of buzz when it drops.
