Lebron James's second stint with the Cleveland Cavs may be shorter than his first.
There have been rumblings over the last few days that Lebron plans on opting out his contract with his hometown team after the 2017-2018 season.
If he does, he would probably go to LA and join a young Lakers team, or an old Clippers team filled with vacation buddies like Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade.
James also has a home in LA near the Staples Center, and he may feel Hollywood's pull as he ponders life after basketball.
James would be 34 during the '18-'19 season. And that should be an old 34, given all the basketball he's played during his long NBA career.
He's still arguably the best player on the planet. But in two years do you think he could anchor the kind of super team that would challenge the Warriors for the Western Conference?
