Kobe's Logic For Preferring Iggy Azalea To Nick Young Is Sound

Kobe Bryant isn't always the kindest of teammates. Just ask Smush Parker.

So when he was asked on the Lakers media day if he preferred Australian rapper Iggy Azalea or Nick Young, Azelea's boyfriend and Laker player, Black Mamba just laughed and went right for the jugular.

"Iggy" Kobe says, unable to contain his glee. "She's been more successful in her career so far."

Can't really argue with that. Sure Swaggy P can score.  But shooting 43 percent from the field while avoiding rebounds, assists and playing defense like broccoli isn't going to top the stats of Azelea, who's so far scored a gold album and two number hits in 2014.

Maybe Young can even things things up in 2015. In fact, during the same media day he dropped this quote. "I might win MVP or try to go for 6th man of the year or most improved or defensive player of the year. I got robbed last year."

OK, that's not going to happen. But at least he proved he's every bit Kobe's equal in the comedy department.
