Kid Cudi's Man On The Moon III didn't do quite as well as initially projected, pulling in 148K first week, not 175K.
Nevertheless, it's a strong comeback for an artist whose sales had been on the decline.
As is the case in these streaming days, many (10) of the tracks on Cudi's album also charted on the Hot 100, including one surprising entry.
The album's intro track, "Beautiful Trip", is just 37 seconds long. Yet enough people streamed the album to have it chart, making it the shortest Hot 100 hit ever.
Billboard Hot 100: #100(new) Beautiful Trip, @KidCudi.

The previous shortest was Piko-Taro's 45-second viral track "PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)," which hit 77 in 2016.
Congrats Cudi, we guess.
