We haven't had beef between a rapper and a restaurant chain since Iggy Azelea went at it with Papa Johns.
Although one could say Iggy's not really a rapper, and, really, it's not like Kanye West and Chuck. E. Cheese are having "beef."
But West did shade the kid's restaurant known for animatronic animal musicians and adult fights as he dismissed the rumor that he had kicked the kids out of a Chuck E. Cheese because he wanted to get down in the ball pit all by himself.
'Ye told the Hot 97 crew that he couldn't have possibly been that guy, because he's never even been to a Chuck E. Cheese before.
"As far as Chucky E. Cheese goes ... first of all they should be paying me for just saying their name," Kanye said. Then he explained he rents out venues like the Staples Center when he wants to do physical activity without commoners.
Later in the interview, West explained his place in the world:
"If you look at the past 10 years have I contributed more or took away more from the world?" he says. "From music, from stage design, or just from wearing dope-ass coats to the airport, have I contributed or not?"While he poses this as a question, he obviously believes the answer is yes. But we're going to hold off on agreeing until we see that dope-ass coat.
