Young Jeezy has been going by just Jeezy more and more these days. And, why not, the former Boyz n da Hood member is now 36. He's also graduated to network late night TV, and Jeezy performed his hit Holy Ghost on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.
Jeezy's album "Seen It All: The Autobiography" come out on September 2, and featured an all-star list of guest appearances, including Jay-Z, Rick Ross and The Game.
It debuted at number 2 on the Billboard charts, although the 121,000 copies it sold in the US were 50 percent less than his previous album, "TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition", moved in its first week. (Although that may have as much to do with general record industry trends than interest in Jeezy.)
Do you think his performance last night in front of a national late night audience will give "Seen It All" new legs?
