According to a report from Axios, Jay Z is starting a venture capital fund with his longtime business partner Jay Brown, who's also Roc Nation's president.
The two will be partnering with Sherpa Capital and are currently looking for a third entity to partner with, since Sherpa won't be leading investments.
Hov and Brown will invest in "seed-stage tech opportunities," adding to their current investments in Uber's Series B, JetSmarter and of course the streaming service Tidal.
At this time, neither Jay or his business partner have commented on the new venture, possibly for two reasons: One, certain restrictions keep the rapper and Brown from speaking on it and, two, it's just not Jay's style.
If you haven't noticed yet, he's really good at keeping his new business moves under wraps.
