Ja Rule 's Fyre Fest was supposed to be a luxurious weekend in the Bahamas featuring acts like Migos and Blink 182, and scenes like this:

Instead, it resembled a refugee camp.

For that, everybody's been clowning on the now cancelled Fyre Festival, for which folks paid between $1500 and 250K to attend.
Ja Rule, who organized the event with entrepreneur Billy MacFarland, jumped on Twitter this afternoon and apologized.

Ja's debacle affects more than just a bunch of rich kids.
TMZ reports the Fyre Fest will end up costing the Bahamas millions.
The archipelago tried to limit the damage in a statement:
