Yesterday, we learned that Iggy Azalea will be delaying her North American tour.
It was scheduled to begin on April 14, but has been pushed back to fall because of "production delays."
That's the official story, but there is probably more to it.
According to The Wrap, Iggy has stopped communicating with her reps and won't do any promotion for the tour. The Australian import has also disengaged from social media over the last month.
The 24 city tour 'Great Escape Tour' had been scheduled for large arenas, such as the Staples Center and AmericanAirlines Arena. Given that Iggy has lost a lot of momentum since 'Fancy'' tore up the chart, we tend to doubt she would be able to fill a string of 18,000 seat venues.
If Iggy does actually reschedule the dates -- and don't be surprised if the tour is cancelled entirely -- expect it to be at smaller venues.
