The soundtrack for Straight Outta Compton has been mysterious. We know Dr. Dre played a huge role in creating it, and we'll have new music from him, Eminem, Kendrick, and others. But we have yet to see a cover, track list or even a date. The film will be out on August 14 and Ice Cube just revealed the soundtrack is slated to come out before that.
Around the 10 minute mark of this interview with Power 99, Cube says it'll be out on August 1.
In the interview, he also talks about the film, Eazy-E, Suge Knight and if N.W.A. will do some kind of tour. Watch it below.
