Earlier this year, Future's son Jakobi Wilburn was arrested on charges including criminal gang activity, criminal trespass and the altered ID of a firearm.
Jakobi was listed as "indignant" at the time of his arrest, suggesting his famous dad wasn't help him out. When that leaked out, Future pushed back, assuring everyone he was aware of his son's situation and would be hiring him the best legal representation.
If that's the case, they may not be doing their best job. The DA has dropped the charge that Jakobi scratched a serial number off of a gun. However, he is still being held without bail for giving a false name and birthdate to the police and for spray painting "NORP" on a home.
That stands for “Normal Ordinary Regular Playa,” which is associated with the Rollin 60s Crips. The criminal trespass charge is for the vandalism and the criminal gang activity charge is for what he tagged.
The judge won't grant bail, despite Jackobi's big money representation, because he “poses a significant risk” of committing a felony if he is let out.
