Drake turned 28 over the weekend. To celebrate he dropped a trio of tracks and then hit Stadium Club in Washington DC Saturday night for an evening of bottle poppin' and the like.
By early Sunday, Drizzy was in the parking lot with a large rack of bills because why wouldn't he be? Suddenly, he had the urge to reenter the club.
As you can see in the video below, the club's security couldn't prevent Drake from storming back in. As for the money ... Drake threw it on the ground in what appears to be an unnecessary attempt at generally bribery.
Rumor has it that a member of Drake's OVO crew had been punched inside of the club and Drake was keeping it real G by coming back in to defend his boy. (There are also rumors that it was a Tyga associate who did the punching.)
We also hear that the guy in the black shirt with white stars who picked up all the money Drake dropped is another member of his crew.
So if you ever wondered why rappers travel with such large entourages, it's because they need at least one guy -- and probably two -- to pick up all the money they throw when they get angry. That's just good economic policy.
