If the one thing missing from your 2014 was The-Dream, he's making it up to you with two EPs this year. On March 31, we'll be getting his Crown EP, via his Contra Paris label, and some time after that comes the Jewel EP. The 37-year old spoke to Vibe about the difference in the EPs.
"Crown is more modern R&B, and Jewel will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side, the songs I might have given to other artists before," he says. If you put me in a box, Jewel is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in—every year I’m expanding and growing, and it makes for a more interesting plot."Which EP are you more excited to hear?
