Drake's 'More Life' Breaks Apple & Spotify Streaming Records

Drake's More Life was streamed 89.9 million times in its first 24 hours on Apple Music, which is easily a record.

The most played song on Apple was the More Life's first song, 'Free Smoke'. Breakout tracks 'Portland' and 'Passionfruit' were second and third most streamed.

Over on Spotify, More Life did 76.3 million in its first full day, breaking Ed Sheeran's Divide's two week old record of 68.7 million.

While it doesn't look like More Life is going to match the overall sales of Drake's last project VIEWS, it's poised to shatter all streaming records.

Perhaps that's what Drake was going for with a 'playlist.'
