Drake is on track to make VIEWS his biggest opening week ever. Nothing Was The Same did 658K first week, but this album is already close to beating that number in just one day. Last night in Toronto, Drizzy performed two different shows, one of which featured Justin Bieber. During one of the shows, he revealed the current numbers.
"I got a text message that we sold like 630,000-something records in one night, so that's the first time I've ever done that shot, so thank you very much," he tells the crowd. It's no surprise, especially because he's essentially gaming the certification system to ensure he's Platinum first week.
In fact, Hits Daily Double is projecting the first week sales of VIEWS to approach two million.
