Drake didn't put out an album in 2014. But he's still near the top of Hip Hop's A-list.
He's also one of the biggest names in the entire music industry, as evident by his plum placement at one of this year's most important music festivals.
According to Coachella's just released literature, Drake will be headlining the festival's third day. (Coachella runs the weekend of April 10-12, and then repeats its lineup April 17-19.)
Other Hip Hop acts to be featured this year include Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Vic Mensa, Ab-Soul, The Weeknd, Azealia Banks, Run The Jewels, Flying Lotus and Lil B.
Legendary Aussie rockers AC/DC headline the first day and former White Stripe Jack White headlines the second.
Then Drake will join Jay Z, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Outkast and Snoop Dogg in the exclusive list of rappers to get a Coachella headline nod.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 7.
