It's been over 14 years since D'Angelo released an album. There have been so many rumors the R&B singer is working on his follow-up to 2000's Voodoo, we've reached a point where it's like crying wolf. However, what if this time it was actually happening? There may be some hard evidence that it is.
A trailer titled Black Messiah has popped up. It tells us absolutely nothing about the album or even if it's D'Angelo. Luckily, someone on Twitter posted a photo of a physical copy of said album that clearly says it's by D'Angelo and The Vanguard. If physical copies are already printed and shipped, it looks like the album could be out soon. December 16, according to the Twitter sleuth who put the puzzle together.
