Cardi B became a superstar after dropping her debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2018 and based on the success of the LP, it would be easy for one to assume that she would've quickly dropped her sophomore project but that hasn't been the case.
Yes, the Bronx rapper has released one-off singles and hopped on other people's songs but that's it.
Cardi talked about the hold up Tuesday while on Instagram Live.

"I do have anxiety," she admitted. "I've been having a lot of anxiety ’cause I know right after I drop my album I have to go on tour. And I have bad separation anxiety from my kids ... When it comes to the music, I just be feeling like I don't be liking anything. I feel like I got so many songs, I just don't like nothing. Like nothing is good enough. I got so much f*cking money saved up, I be like, 'Yeah, whatever the f*ck.'"
"I used to love to make music," she added. " But now, making music to me has become a job that gives me anxiety. Everybody just critique everything that I do that it's just like sometimes you just don't want to do something that may give you that much anxiety."
Just a few days ago, Cardi said she earned $1 million for playing at an Art Basel event.
