When Ab-Soul dropped '47 Bars' early this morning, he tweeted that this might get him kicked off the label. Even the description on Soundcloud says "Sorry Top [Dawg]." It seems a stretch that TDE would ever drop him, but they've had plenty of issues in the last year pertaining to the release of These Days. Check out '47 Bars.'
With Alchemist on the beat, Ab-Soul drops some of his best bars in a long time. The 47 represents the number of dates on his last tour. He starts off with, "This verse was ghost written by Capital STEEZ/ I’m high cause I fly with Loriana’s angel wings/ Not cause I smoke weed, we in the era of the Pros."
Soulo also drops references to Marvel, his TDE fam, and a not-so-subtle shot at Young Thug: "And I hate to address it, but rappers wearing dresses now?/ Hey, it do cost a lot to live this here lifestyle/ Cash Money talk, bullshit walk a million miles".
Does anybody else think these two (Soul and Alc) should do an album at some point?
